At The Medical Healing Center, we provide adult primary care with an emphasis on holistic medicine.\u00a0 We utilize traditional allopathic medical treatments, as well as offer homeopathic, integrated, and complementary approaches.\u00a0 We have been in practice for over 16 years and have many success stories with chronically ill patients.<\/p>

We believe that one must integrate the mind, body, and spirit in order to achieve the best health state possible.\u00a0 We take care of the “whole” person.\u00a0 It is our belief that the combination of traditional Western or Allopathic medicine, as well as complementary and Integrative homeopathic treatments, can result in the best possible health\u00a0outcomes.<\/p>

We offer a holistic\/functional approach to healing provided through integrative medicine. After many years in the traditional healthcare system as a Registered Nurse and seeing patients getting worse instead of better, Angela Myers opted to seek a more natural approach to healing.\u00a0\u00a0After becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), she wanted to make a difference in chronically ill patients and knew traditional medicine alone was not working.\u00a0\u00a0In 1999, Angela opened The Medical Healing Center to provide Tallahassee and surrounding areas with a truly holistic approach to healthcare.\u00a0\u00a0A place that treats the whole person-mind, body and spirit. Where every person has individual needs and there is not a one size fits all mentality. We believe that each person should have individualized care. Our goal is to get each patient to their highest functioning state.<\/p>

We are vastly different from a standard General Health care practice – we use everything from traditional medicine and integrative and complementary therapies to IV vitamin therapy and diet combinations. Angela\u00a0is an APRN\u00a0and has over 46 years of experience in the medical field.\u00a0 She has worked in emergency, surgical, forensics, home health care, psychiatric medicine, Infection Control (infectious diseases), risk management, and academic settings. She completed\u00a0the Nurse Practitioner (NP)\u00a0program at\u00a0Emory University in 1996. Angela also has extensive training and certifications in Infusion Therapy, skin care, and Public Health (communicable diseases).\u00a0 She was a consultant in Infection Control and brought the first blood and body fluids protocol into the State of Florida while working at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center now called Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.\u00a0Angela is trained and certified by Dr. Shallenberger in prolozone injections and oxygen therapies. She is a certified expert witness as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (S.A.N.E.) and assisted\u00a0in writing the S.A.N.E program for The Refuge House and The Child Protection Team of Tallahassee.\u00a0 She taught the first year general medical technician program at Branell College in Tallahassee.\u00a0 Angela speaks for organizations and at\u00a0local alternative medicine conferences on subjects such as Lyme disease, Chronic Illness and Women’s Health Care. Jennifer, APRN, NP-C, is a South Georgia native that earned her Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner through the University of Cincinnati. She comes to us with nearly a decade of experience in healthcare including, obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, critical care, and endoscopy in a GI setting. She is specialized in Women’s Health with particular interests in gynecology, urogynecology, menopause, primary care, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and weight management. Jennifer loves functional medicine and believes when the body is supported properly it has the ability to heal itself. She is also interested in chronic illness, and auto immune dysfunction, our practice specialties.<\/p>

Jennifer is a mother of 3 boys and has a stepson with her husband, Rick. Even though she is mostly a homebody, she does enjoy daytrips to the beach and vacationing in the mountains with her family. Fishing, hiking, reading, arts and crafts, and playing occasional video games are some of her favorite hobbies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dalia who specializes in Functional Medicine is a Family Nurse Practitioner that joined our team in 2024. Since the early 2000\u2019s, when she chose to go into the medical arena as a second career, her goal has been to bridge the gap between natural holistic medicine and conventional medicine through a robust and integrative medical approach. She would like to make this available to everyone who desires to receive common sense comprehensive holistic medical care.<\/p>

Dalia started out as an RN working for Baptist Hospital in Miami as an oncology certified nurse. As her passion to help people grew, she became an NP in 2011. Her 14 years of experience as an NP includes treating immunopathologies, functional imbalances, vitamin and nutritional deficiencies, toxic pathologies, emotional traumas, and energetic imbalances. She utilizes integrative functional holistic medicine to create tailored patient plans using homeopathy, herbal supplements, nutritional IV, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other more subtle supportive techniques such as neurofeedback, biofeedback, and related energy healing therapies as well as conventional medicine when appropriate.<\/p>

Dalia has worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Absolute Health, a functional medicine practice in Ocala, Florida directed by Y. Elyaman MD, who is a professor at the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). She worked at the Cleveland Clinic, in Weston, Florida, as well as at various other settings in Florida.<\/p>

Dalia is a member of the Holistic Nurses Association. In addition to her conventional medicine training, she has studied various energy healing modalities to support her patients with their mind, body and spirit health such as: Healing Touch levels I to IV, Quantum Touch I and II, and other modalities including Biomagnetic Pair Therapy with Dr. Luis Garcia in NJ. She received her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami, Certification in Functional Medicine IFMCP from IFM, and her Bachelor\u2019s degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. The last eighteen years Eric has operated with his wife Angela, The Medical Healing Center, a holistic functional practice using integrative medicine. He has two Bachelor of Science degrees and is a certified Biofeedback Technician. Eric operates and teaches the QXCI\/SCIO Technology.
